This is a MiniWelt figure that I have recently constructed and painted, a Russian Hussar.

I've got about another dozen figures in my collection, all Napoleonic with French, Russian and English and are all very good figures.

Hi John,

Beautiful work as always, I've several figures that I picked up in Berlin over the years always loved em. I must admit to being very excited about seeing that someone is starting up production of their catalog. Still waiting for an answer from Vladimir, would you happen to have any more information ? This is the first I've heard of it, haven't seen anything but old stock in many years. Thanks Gebhard

Thanks for your kind words about my painting, I really appreciate that :)

I made a mistake in my email, it was Dimitri who I emailed and he replied.

My name is Vasilevski Dmitry,
I saw at your gallery figures of German Miniwelt in your collection. This figures was made by our team in early 2000 under the brand "Miniwelt". Today Miniwelt is not exist but the team still work. In actually we are Ukrainian manufacturer and today we are working like VID soldiers (really we working since 1991). VID soldiers - is abbreviation of Vasilevski Igor and Dmitry (my dad who is founder this firm and me)

Maybe he will post more info on his company like he put in an email to me with costing and such.

Hi John,

Your more then welcome, thanks for sharing the info :salute::. regards Gebhard

Dear John ad Gebhard,
yes, Im still Dmitry ))) and our VID soldiers still continue work in Ukraine. Unhappy we can't find time to build our own website due a lot of work and projects but you always can order it directly from me. JOhn correctly copied part of my mail to him concerning Miniwelt figures from this catalogue was made by our team VID soldiers. So, this figures (and very much more) from this catalogue still alive.
To Gebhard - yes we can make fully painted figures, assembled unpainted figures and kits. By your wishes

You should scan and post the Prussian Seven Years War catalog, too. I got it from Scholz/Berliner Zinnfiguren, back in the day, and it's somewhere in my files. I remember when I saw those figures for the first time. I had just started out a couple of years before, casting my figures with the Prins August molds, and finding a manufacturer making kits was a revelation. Your range of subjects in that Prussian catalog is impressive, from the unique individuals in the rank and file, to the portrait figures of Frederick and his generals.

I think the Miniwelt figures could be mixed in with First Legion's SYW figures very easily.

Prost!
Brad
