Here's a little piece that I knocked out, depicting some Perry Northern Militiamen firing behind a rail fence. The kneeling guy is an Old Glory figure with a KMM head. I wanted to experiment with some tall grass patches and some vines.
All of the terrain was made by me, including the fence, which I made by taking a Lemax fence apart and re-configuring it. I cut slices into the planks to make it look more realistic. I used several different ink stains to get the color I wanted.
The groundwork was my usual mixture of bulls balls, frog butts and chicken lips.

I made the tree from a sagebrush twig.

The tall grass was made by spreading tacky glue on the places where I wanted the tall grass to appear. I use the fly swatter gizmo to make the grass. Several passes needed here. I started off with 10 mm and made my way down to 6 mm in successive passes.
The vines are model RR vines, that I cut up dipped in super glue and wrapped around the fence with tweezers. A nice effect, I think.

Figures painted by the wonderfully talented, Mr. John Bryant.

By the way, notice how much bigger these figures are compared to the early Perry sculpts. Scale Creep indeed!!

The terrain, fence and tree looks great. Well done,

Tom
