Had an interesting exchange of conversation most recently with a group of WWII German reenactors in reference to the wearing of the
German Dot 44 Camo uniform worn by the waffen SS from 1944 through 1945. I found it amazing how narrow minded some can be as
far as what was regulation and what actually took place. The big issue at hand.........Soldiers wearing only the sleeve eagle on the camo
tunics and anything else is fantasy according to the "I was there in my previous Life" experts. Enclosed are several examples on how
the soldiers and Officers in the field wore these as they saw fit. If anyone else has additional photos of the Dot 44 with rank and collar tabs,
awards, etc.... please feel free to add them here !
