Hi

As a collector of the K&C Collectors Club figures I came very close to having a heart attack whilst showing my collection to a friend. There are 25 no 24 figures in the collection so far - I think - Having not been on the Forum for some time have I missed something ? After a very stressed 15 minutes the penny dropped - Figure CF019 is missing - not there - gone walk a bout - AWOL - Is Andy playing games ? Can anyone throw some light as to why there is no CF019 ??? or can we class this figure as the invisible man!

Dear Frank,
I hope Andy won't mind me saying this but I would like to claim some credit for your missing Club figure.
Last year before Andy's trip to Australia he mentioned he was bringing out two Club figures that would be Australian (a WWI Lighthorse and a WWII Desert figure). As these figures are not available to dealers to sell (I am a member of the Club also but can only buy two) I was less than excited by this news. I thought it would be good to have a single Aussie figure available for collectors. Andy agreed it would be good to have the figure available for sale when he was Down Under and for general sale.
As result CF19 became CC38. It has never appeared on the K&C web page. Not surprisingly this figure has been popular amongst my collectors (he is on my web page) and he was the "advance party" for the Light Horse series.
Hope that solves the mystery.
Regards
Brett

Frank mate,
Number was not used. It was to be the Australian Lighthorseman (CC38) but was change at the last moment. If my memory serves me correctly the change was made during talks between Andy and Brett Williams. I may be wrong. Around May 2009 before Andy's trip Downunder.
Hope that helps, cobber.
Cheers Howard

Mr Brett and Mr Northgate

Thank you for the feed back - Mr Northgate your info was correct ref. to Mr Williams post - as for you Brett exspect a phone call - (all this stress for nothing)
P.S great hearing from you both. I do have in my poccession the said figure - purchased off Mr Williams some time ago - As for Andy - GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER :p

Hey Mr,
Less of the Mr 's !!!
Regards
Brett

PS I second the motion on that Andy fella - doing Australian Club figures is about as welcome down here as a Kangaroo hitting your windscreen !!!!
Hey Andy, as they say................. IMHO !!!!

OK no more Mr's

As for the Roo hitting your screen what about a Scotchman -

Perhaps an Australian aborginal warrior for CF019
or
Ned Kelly
or
A state militia guard ???

Just in case K&C have run out of ideas - not much point collecting club figures if there's not a complete set to collect
