Okay, so here is the new man cave I've just had the good fortune to move into. To clarify, it is actually attached to a house we've just moved into after a long summer of transitioning from Wisconsin to Minnesota. Not altogether crazy about the wall color, kind of lipstickish....but considering my options and then hopefully soon will have some suitable display space for the books and TS. The move has been a very expensive process and most unfortunately we still own the Wisconsin house too so display cabinets, etc....are on the back burner for now. Also, the TS collection took a serious hit to fund some of this enterprise, so what you see in those 2 boxes and the K&C bag is the extent of it at this point. That is mostly WB Zulus and K&C Crimea in there (had to keep just my absolute favorites). I will post some updates as the dump starts to take shape. :)

I see the makings of a wonderful den! Love the French Doors & wood floor!

Hope the rest of your move goes smoothly, and the other home sells!

Keep up posted, your off to a great start!

Best of luck with it Mr. Dave! I hope you enjoy decorating your own museum as much as I did!!

Dave,
A room, a closet , a door that closes (and locks)! What more can any of us ask for? I'm still relegated to the top of the air hockey table in the basement!
My better half did offer up more display space on the TREADMILL. Thanks a lot, I said:eek:. I do have s walk-in gunroom, so I guess I can't complain. Good
luck with everything and take care of those Zulus.

Thanks for the sentiments all. Mike, I'm laughing, but I feel for you. My previous digs consisted of 2 tiny curio boxes on the floor in the corner of our bedroom. So, just lose the current contents of the walk in gun room and it sounds like you are all set.

Yes Louis, a small museum it will be, hopefully with some diorama pieces and artifacts added to the mix eventually...just need to get out of the real estate market at this, of all times.

MD,

I think it looks great and I'm sure you'll have a great time filling it.

Sorry Njja,
New Jersey gun laws will not permit me to show what is not permitted! Like
real bullets and real guns, similiar to your Steyr, and maybe with bayonet lugs
and possibly pistol grips and maybe magazines with more than 10 rounds capacity,, and maybe black guns that look deadly and look like they could assault someone by themselves. Just picture the movie "Commando" and add a couple!:D
Mike

Is it just me,or does that red cry out for a massive SOHK display ? Congrats Mr. Dave on your new digs-looks palatial to me,and bonne chance with the old house.Cheers,Sir Digby:D

Nice Dave, the wall colour can be a changed to a nice shade of green and I agree with you on your choice of the K&C Crimean series.

Jeff

Y'know OB, you just might be on to something there, hmmmm.....but then again green would be nice, though strangely the local paint shops have been out of green paint for some time now. :D

Stick with the red mate. Red is definately the new green. Jeff is just living in the last season.:D

Neat cave. Looks like you're all set to play. Hope you enjoy sorting it as much as I imagine you will.

Extremely nice cave mate, I think you and the troops should be most comfortable there.:D
