Hello everybody, I have two problems here in the forum: first of all, my english is not good, second I am not able to post pictures here, I only can create albums. please have a look at my new album "Tradition and other glossy figures" and tell me about your own experiences mixing glssy figures with JG buildings.
Thanks in advance and regards from Germany :)
Marcus

Hi Marcus

I do not have any JG miniatures but your certainly do look nice. I know there are a few members on the forum that mix JG with their glossy figures. Hopefully they will post on here.

Regards

Scott

Hallo Dave,
dein Deutsch ist noch sehr gut. Man kann es sehr gut verstehen.

Hallo Markus,
willkommen beim Treefrog Toy Soldier Forum. Hoffentlich gefaellt es dir hier.

Hi all,
I believe that the JG Miniature buildings, especially the earlier ones go better with glossy figures then with matte, because they used to be on the small side of the scale and glossy finished Toy Soldiers are usually smaller then their matte finished companions.

Marcus,
Your collection was a joy to look at! I love the JG and Britains glossy. I have the JG terrain pieces and they go well with my Trophy, WB, Tradition, etc...

Hello!
I think JG makes some great products and they work very well with both Matte and Gloss figures.
My own preference has always been to use realistic Matte scenics with traditional Gloss figures. I think it helps to make the figures stand out.
Although I have posted this image before, it is a good example of how I like to display my Gloss figures.

Hallo Konrad - thank you for your warm wellcome - I believe you are absolutely right: the newer matte figures are a bit too big for the JG buildings. Your German is so much better than my english - stammst Du aus Deutschland ? Schoenes Wochenende Marcus
