Mobile Forum Update...Good News (1 Viewer)

After working on things for a bit...I think I have things working so EVERYONE can view the forum on their mobile devices!

The forum had been set to detect when a user was on a mobile device. It then forced the device into the mobile style. I have deactivated this option. When you go to the site you will automatically be taken to the main, desktop style.

If you would like to use the mobile style, go to the lower left of the page. You will see a drop-down that allows you to choose the style you want to use.

'Green Mobile' is the mobile version.

'New Basic' is the normal desktop version.

Choose what you want...and you are good to go! I tested it and it appears to keep the style that you had chosen.

Two more pieces of mobile news:

1. I have been assured that the 'What's New' button will be included in the next update to the software. Hopefully soon
2. A mobile app for iPhone and Android became available today. I am going to give them about a month to get the bugs out (it's dangerous to be the first on board with something this new). As soon as I hear that the apps are stable I'll jump in and get it for you!

I had an internet outage over the weekend and tried to pull the forum up on my blackberry. For some reason, I can only view the first and last post in every thread. There doesn't appear to be any way to view all posts which was possible under the prior version.

It gone to a basic plan white forum where before all was fine ^&confuse

OK, that's weird. We don't HAVE one called basic! We have a 'New Basic,' but it's not available for you to see!

I'll have to look into this tonight when I have a moment...
