Well we found a lot of models in my Father in laws closet today 509 to be exact a whole lot still have the plastic wrapping on them & the ones that don't are still sealed on the inside. Some are plastic soldiers etc but most are army trucks etc. I took a general picture & a couple separate pictures of a couple a really liked. modelsinboxes015_zps8b5b1028.jpgmodelsinboxes010_zpsd4c3f7c9.jpgmodelsinboxes007_zps8441867f.jpgmodelsinboxes006_zpscd2ef753.jpg

And what we figures painters call : grey army

Ammazing find, enjoy

That's what we scale modelers refer to as "The Stash".

Prost!

It was a stash for sure ! Now I have more work trying to look all these up & see what we have. I had a friend give me some links on them that might have some people in my area that would possibly buy them.

I have the President & Vice president of the local chapter of the IPMS coming over on Thursday they seem to think I can get rid of most of these locally thru them which would be a huge help.

Yeah, going through a local club is a good way to move them quickly. We (Delaware Valley Scale Modelers) liquidated the stash of a gentleman from Jersey, who passed away. His family didn't want to hassle with eBay or taking tables at shows, or going to auction. We agreed on prices and took care of it for her.

These guys seemed pretty excited when I talked on the phone with them so I am keeping my fingers crossed I can just have a sale at the house which they seem to think I can . If not there is a show coming up in April I can get a table at. I can do Ebay like I have been with a lot of stuff but I would rather not if possible. If I do I will sell them 4-5 at a time to save me some listing time and hassle. I have been parting out & selling motorcycle parts for years so selling things is not new to me but luckily I don't have to use Ebay to much for them. We just have our hands full with the estate right now & that would take a nice load off to not have to ship them all.

Yes it does . We have not decided rather we want to get rid of it yet. It is one of the few I was thinking of keeping. As you probably have researched there not real cheap.
