I know this has been discussed before, but I think K&C should make some more Modern Forces figures:D:D

Maybe some Delta Force in Desert uniform, and marines in desert uniform for maybe a Blackhawk Down display:D:DMaybe even a Blackhawk helicopter:D:eek:

And they clould go mad with Somalia opponents:D:eek::eek::cool:

Actually, is K&C already making them, but indirectly, for Altaya? I thought I had read that Altaya's line of modern special forces from different countries were actually sculpted and painted under contract by K&C?

Either way, it is a good suggestion.

Prosit!

I agree 100% and hope they rekindle the line of special forces...some modern vehicles would be great as well!

Any chance of that being a reality? I heard the special forces didn't sell well?

I am in total agreement. I think there is alot you could do with modern day figures. I would love to see some tanks from the current day German military and U.S. military.

I think Frontline do this range. Great figures at knockdown prices. The only downside is you just get a single figure from each SF unit which makes building up a scene a little different.

I'm definately up for more modern figures.

Ah, thanks, Simon! I couldn't remember.

I see those Altaya figures up on eBay with relative frequency, both on eBay-USA and eBay-Germany. You're right about the single figures, but in auctions, you could quickly put together a small collection of them, too.

I'm with you about more present-day figures.

Prost!

I tend to go for any 'modern' era figures going - not too difficult due to the very small number of releases. Some of the Frontline / Altaya figures fit very nicely alongside the Figarti Iraq War figures and they've got some very cool poses, not just your standard magazine release poses of standing looking thoughtful.
I queried Rick about future IW releases at the December London Show, and he didn't discount it, so maybe....
