Dear Mods:

i just got "promoted" from SGM to 2LT. Please be advised as a representative of the "underpriveleged working class" enlisted man, the thought of going from the top of the rung enlisted rank to becoming some shavetail butter bar pipsqueak is utterly unacceptable. We have enough CORPS and Division level commanders on this forum that we need solid working class troopers to keep this forum balanced between the hardworking, honest pay for an honest day men and the golf cart warriors that are proliferating here on the forum :D:p:p

If possible, please lock me in as a SGM.

Nothing wrong with being a Colonel I earned it. One Colonel ran a whole country. One Corporal almost destroyed the world.

Ah!!! Touche, Touche KV!! Very well put- that Corporal was still a working stiff in the trenches though when he was a noncom

yes, certainly everyone here has earned their stripes and stars- my comments were made more in jest in light of the "Commissioned" versus "Non Commissioned" debate that has gone on for years.

Take care
