I just got my third set of BM's...

BM-22...(the wounded set to the left)

even though I don't collect Battle of Monongahela anymore...

I still love these figures...

they will make good diorama for fort defense and small Indian battles...

Mike,
One of your best so far! (and that's saying something) Define 'not collecting'? Sometimes I think 'less is more' when it comes to displaying figures. You don't necessarily need a massive display. More compact displays like this shows off the detail in John's work better than a large display IMO.

Now all you need is a gatling gun!!!!:):)

Pete...

I got an outrageous offer on my BM01...BM02...BM03 and BM06 a couple of months ago...

It was the like in the "Godfather"..."I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse"...

just too good to pass up...

along with that offer...I got very generous offers on almost all my BM's...

so after I lost the rarest of sets...I just sold them all off...

all my VM's, BM's (except for a dozen or so sets)...

I wasn't going to collect the new BM Line Infantry...I swore I wouldn't...

but I fell apart like a cheap suit...:D

I crumbled like a stale cookie...:D

I have no willpower...:D

I kept all my WIM's...sold the duplicates...

I kept all my FM's...sold the duplicates...

both these can be used in St. Francis...which I avidly collect now...

So........."define not collecting"...

I'm kind of cherry picking here and there...

I always wanted more Tricorns...so when these came out...I decided to collect them even though I don't collect Monongahela...

I still have my stockade and fort walls...these guys will work well with that and the WIM's...

with all that said...I just picked up sets of BM02 and BM03...which I just plan to resell...

and yes....I like that "gatling gun"...:D

I think with the amount of stuff available now, I think 'cherry picking' is no bad thing. I just can't keep up anymore..although I wish I could. Its difficult to focus though!

I agree...you need to find something that pushes your buttons and stick to your budget...it's sooooo hard with so much good work out there...it's all so appealing...

That's why I'm sticking with my figure kits. There isn't that much out their which is good:confused:.A new set is coming out though.2 figures,4 heads which mean 2 sets I will buy.Mike you should be able to pay off your mortgage with that BM-03.:D

the second mortgage was to buy it...:p

Mike,
I have a question. As you have been purchasing the new British line infantry why did you get rid of BM-02,03 again?

Mark...a couple of days ago...they kind of fell back into my hands from the guy that originaly bought them from me...the "return" on them was just too good to keep and not resell...if I were going to start re-collecting the entire series...I would have kept them...

as far as collecting the new BM's...I can't resist them...I still have all my WIM's...I can do a lot with these figures for dios...
