Monty HQ Clue????? (1 Viewer)

It has to come IMO it will be this side of the year as an FOB as we are distinctly lacking in armour for the english FOB forces. couple of piats for the troops and some AT guns will level it out against the stugs and panzer IV's.

Nice pics I cannot think of a better early K&C tank

Yes its very nice and has stood the test of time and newer releases very well, I also like it as its the camo used on the version at the IWM

Rob,

About 4 years ago, Andy made two prototypes of the Bedford QL Radio Command Vehicle (the second vehicle depicted in your post), one in 30 Corps markings (in my collection) and one in desert markings (in Clive Gande's collection). He made these prototypes shortly before he made the Austin Tilly prototypes, which he also did not put in production at that time. He has now made the Austin as a production vehicle, so I wouldn't be suprised if the Radio Command Vehicle was put in production as well.

That is good news indeed. All things Commonwealth are welcome in my collection! D-Day Monty needs some support, he's standing all alone, maybe some other command figures as well to supplement the vehicle. In regards to FOB I doubt we'll see anything soon, I'm sure I heard Andy mention he was giving that series a rest for awhile. Upon its return he may not even revisit Dunkirk, given that the Chicago figure was Polish maybe his attention will be elsewhere and not on the French and British.

Yes now you mention it I do remember Andy saying at the last Christmas show that FOB was resting and he may return to it at some point.
