Here is my newest NAP.LI set of 12 K&C glossy's, as seen in the photos...

I have cut off 3/4-1" of the lower original foam. This allows the soldiers to sit lower in the item box and keeps the bayonets away from the upper edge of item box. I then make new upper foam a little thicker than the original and mortise/cut in details for each bayonet individually. This allows the upper edge of item box to be compressed/squeezed with no bayonet damage...as might happen in shipping. The thicker upper foam also keeps the top layer foam (not shown) from pushing down sideways on the bayonets.

Told you I was anal about boxes{eek3}

Johnny...I'm still planning a move and my whole collection will need to be shipped...putting them on display at this point doesn't interest me. The actual set pictures are listed under latest glossy's. I'm into boxes and find interest in perfecting how well they can be packaged. That's all!

Okay - sorry - I just have a thing about keeping beautiful things in boxes!

A bit like buying a beautiful painting - and then keeping it in a vault.

Good luck with the shipping!^&grin^&grin^&grin- irit worked^&grin
