Does any one have background information on Hiriart i.e: the company and the people behind the figures.

If I am not wrong, the company was based in Uruguay. I am assuming is has closed.

Raymond.

Don't think it's closed. They are just a small company that is happy with their niche. They seem to have a business model that works for them.

A few years back we attempted to pick up the line, but they weren't interested.

Hello, nice to enter in the forum. I just wat to tell you that Hiriart is not closed. He and one of his sons continue producing up today. Jaime Hiriart is close to retire, but not by now!. I'm also living in Uruguay, and I am in close contact with Guillermo Hiriart. As he told me, they are quite busy, with a three months delay to delivery those items ordered by their clients.

How does one contact them to find out what they have in their catalog and prices? Will they sell to collectors in the US?

The US dealer is Buzz Thorp and his address is on Bill Hocker's web page.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. I am glad to hear that Hiriart is still in production.

There does not appear to be a website that collectors can view to see what is on offer.

How does one order a catalogue ?

Thanks, Raymond.
