More Imperial on ebay (1 Viewer)

I bought some coldstream guards to knock up the ranks a bit, they were in fairly good nick... especially for the price.

I did however notice they came from a smokers home, the boxes aren't in the best condition. Also in a set 65A, 6 CSG's marching - there was a colour sargeant from the colour party in the set - so that kind of dispells the "never been removed from box" claims.

Overall, I was satisfied with purchase, fast postage, seems like a consciencious seller, just thought I'd give a heads up to ya'll

Many thanks! Did the wrong figure appear on the seller's photo of the set or did the photo look correct?

Hey Viriato,

This is the photo:

It's my fault, caveat emptor...

However, the description read:

Item Name: Coldstream Guards, 1854
Item Number: No. 65A
Manufacturer: Imperial Productions - Imperial Collectors' Figures
Soldier Grade: Mint
Soldier Grade Description: Still in original packaging, never removed/displayed
Box Grade: Near Mint
Box Grade Description: Very light wear to corners/edges of box, remnants of old price sticker

Please be advised that I am not a toy soldier collector and/or expert. Grades are based upon research I have done, along with guidance from a friend and are essentially my best guess. I am helping my friend sell off his toy soldier collection, so please check back often as additional items will be available in the near future. These items are from the home of a smoker. All items are sold in AS-IS condition. As I stated earlier, I am not an expert in toy soldier items. If an item is in original packaging with original packing material, I will always grade as Mint. I do my best to describe any deficiencies that I can see, but if it's in original packaging I am not going to remove to inspect further.

Again, probably my fault, I assumed if a person said "never removed" it would have contained the correct figures.

Ah well, still look good in the collection, and like I say, he was faultless with the other side of the transaction - fast delivery, etc.
