Not sure which side these Napoleonic colonial troops were on? I think they may be French but could be wrong.

Gary - sorry for not answering before. They were toops recruited among Indian sepoys, and they fought for the British during the Kandyan Wars, in Sri Lanka, between 1803 and 1805.
