Wayne has pointed out to me that there are another two Grenadiers à pied de 1er régiment of Tom's Workshop page, while he's been checking out the new German WW2's :)

http://www.tomgunn.co.uk/toy-soldiers/workshop.html

The pose is kneeling 'at ready' with musket pointing up to repel the English Cavalry.

The figures have the same body, but one has a bearskin hat, and blue trousers and the other is bare headed, bandaged and wearing cream trousers.

Both will fit in nicely with a defencive line at the Battle of Waterloo, so I've got them already on order !

Well Done Tom,

John

The new Grenadier looks well sculpted and the master is well painted ...

But do we have new English  cavalry on the horizon ?

Yes I agree with that one. I really like all the Napoleonics produced by TG so far but some British cavalry would be great.

Having seen the mounted WW2 Germans from TG I would think it was just a matter of time before some British Napoleonic cavalry are produced by TG.

Everyone has done the Scots Greys and we have the W.Britains Dragoons.

How about the 2nd Lifeguards I have some Cuirassiers they could smash into {sm3}^&grin or maybe the 10th Hussars^&cool:cool:
