This weekend I was able to attend a combined meet wit the Armor Modeling and Preservation Society and the Military Vehicle Preservation Association. I took a bunch of photos of restored military vehicles. They are at my Picasa account;

Coverage includes a Canadian-built M4A1 (a Sherman built in Canada is called a "Grizzly"), an ex-Yugoslavian M36B2 tank destroyer, an M5A1 light tank, an M20 armored utility vehicle, a German RSO, etc.

Yup! What the photos don't show are the nice people and the really great models that the AMPS guys brought. I put in about 4 hrs of model juding and many of these people are sharp modelers.
