Some collectors have purchased these figures? that opinion of them?
I see new figures of U.S. cavalry 1880

I recently bought my first Aztec and Conquistador figures from Morgan Miniatures and I think that they are excellent. Really happy with the quality and detail.

Hi Jules,

I continue to flirt with purchasing some of these wonderful figures as I have a long standing interest in the cultures and history of MesoAmerica. Viewing the photos of the figures in your collection is most meaningful to me and I very much appreciate your sharing them with us. Thanks heaps!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :smile2:

Hi Pat,
Cheers mate, glad you like them. Must admit, whilst I generally prefer figures in non combat poses and I would like to create a scene of Cortez's army on the march, massed ranks of Aztecs etc, these figures are stunningly beautiful. I am really happy with them and will definitely be ordering more.

Have a good one

Hi Jules,

Ahhhhhhh. What fun it is to find other collectors with similar interests and preferences! As you build your Aztec and Spaniard collection, please keep us inform and,...with photos if possible. ^&cool

I hope your collection grows quickly. I hate to have long waits before I see more of a very good thing. :wink2:

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :smile2:

Likewise Pat,

BTW here is a pic of Montezuma if you had not seen it in the other threads. The Aztec bodyguard in the background is from De'Agostini.

cheers

Nice! Here are some of my Conquistadors

Hi Jules

very impressed with your Morgan collection. I now only collect standard bearers and
I know there are two standard bearers in this series. May I ask who suppiled your figures and the cost - also what are the actual flags made of ??
Again great photos {bravo}}

Hi Frank,
Bought them direct from Gareth Morgan at Morgan Miniatures http://morganminiatures.homestead.com/page05.html
Cost £30 for the flag bearer... can't remember what the conversion to Au$ was at the time. The flag is beautifully detailed and appears to be some sort of very stiff and hardened paper, but I am not 100% sure if that is the material used.

cheers
