Hope you enjoy!

I saw this post - and thought you might like to see my own effort to make this team. I gave the mounted officer a drawn sword - and two of the six man escorts muskets at the shoulder. The castings came from Dorset Soldiers - which are pretty close to the originals - don't you think? - johnnybach

Great picture! Dorset Soldiers of England makes great castings too. Besides ordering castings from them, I send them my old Britains figures for repair and/or conversion (different head/kepi/helmet etc. on an old Britains figure). Dorset Soldiers always does a great job at this. Several of my own British/Indian Army Officers & artillerymen (shown in my pictures) are conversion-Britains figures done by Dorset Soldiers.

Yes ozzie - I have seen some other posts from you explaining this. I used to do that but now ask Giles for the parts and have a go myself. Heads are pretty easy - drill into the neck and up into the head and put a pin in. Super-glue is also so good these days, I never bother to solder any more. If I'm not certain what to do next - I simply ask Giles - and usually get a short tutorial by e-mail!!

No wonder he's my favourite supplier. Anyway, glad you liked them. - johnnybach
