Hi

Having just read the May releases I sit here reading everyone's comments and just like everyone else I can't wait to get my grubby hands on as many JJ's figures as I can - But I do have a little gripe with the lovely Welshman The lack of mounted figures. - The few John has produced - in my opinion were excellent - Would anyone else agree - or should I just stick to K&C and let the man carry on doing what he does best. ;)

The ranges that John does really don't lend themselves to cavalry forces. It remains to be seen if he will make camels for the Sudan range.

Hi Mark

Camels would be good - But cavalry forces were used to great effect at Culloden, Quebec and the War 1812. I do have a bias towards mounted figures but whether or not he produces them is in JJ hands so long as he keeps producing these fantastic figures I'll be happy - :)

John has told me that he will do British Dragoons for the Culloden series.
I believe he is also considering cavalry for the 1812 series.

Likewise he said to me for both the British Dragoons and infantry for Chippewa...

I only hope he gives us at least 6-8 different poses to make a diverse charge...I would really hate to but just 1 or 2 mounted figures and try to make a diorama.

Now this is good news. All I have to do now is start saving for those dragoons. -- Al

I'm sorry...this was supposed to say...
