Mountford's 1/30th scale Bofors Preproduction pictures (1 Viewer)

Dave Love has kindly sent me preproduction photos of the first two versions of his latest Bofors gun. These are just primed examples so the photoetched sights have not yet been added. The kits are all metal and the cost in kit form is expected to be £25-£35, Dave has not yet calculated the painted price but asked me to remind Treefroggers that they will be given a 10% discount as he promised earlier!! The version shown here is the Naval one, the following post will show the US air droppable version. The British version on wheeled carriage will be finished next week and photos will be posted then, by which time prices should be finalised.

This is the US air droppable version. As before it is in a primed state and so has not yet had the addition of the photo etched parts. Prices as stated on previous post.

Cheers for posting, they look very nicely done. Me thinks that I will be getting one of these. Let's hope that there'll be more 1/30 stuff on the way.

Thanks for posting these, having assembled and painted the 4.7" Siege Gun, Limber and Beast, I would like to add that Mounford's kits are very well designed and all the pieces went together with next to no cleaning up.

Looking forward to seeing the British version.
