Hello everyone,

You will probably notice that some of the painting posts have been moved to the other sections within the forum. This is because they have been placed in the how to section and are not really how to at all. I will leave a redirect of the threads for anything upto the last six months.

Please feel free to post any "how to" tips and pictures here showing the stages you go through when painting your figures, vehicles etc....
Thanks

Any questions feel free to drop me a pm.

Scott

Also if I have moved one of your posts and you feel it belongs somewhere else by all means contact me so I can take care of it.

Thanks

Scott

Maye a Painted Section would be better! Then one would not have to go looking all over. Also the Spartans segment does show a progression!

You have folks that are painting, have painted them, or have purchased painted figures. Then there's metal and plastic. Getting confused. Painted plastic sounds cheap.

I won't mention the multiple diorama/dioDRAMA sections. (two at the bottom!) Diorama set up for photos. Dioramas that are permanent. Dioramas under Britains, Jenkins etc. narrows it down for for those that collect them. That's a good thing.

I am just trying to keep thing organized that's all. I don't wish to ruffle any feathers. I also think that it is relatively easy to post your topics.

If they are glossy post under glossy discussion, the manufacturer if available or other manufacturers.

If matte post under the manufacturer, or other manufacturers.

If plastic under the individual manufacturer or general discussion.

If you have photos showing progression and or descriptions of what you have done under the painting how to.

:)

Not everyone does repaints of say King and Country.
My Spartans showed progression and yet you moved them.
Maybe if it were listed as "member paint shop" Less confusion. Otherwise one would have to go all over the place looking for various work. It would get lost if left in other sub-forums. Most of my stuff does show progression and sometimes not. There is not a paint section for each manufacturer, metal or plastic. Seems easier before. JMO

It isn't just the painting posts that are being interfered with. I had posted some pictures of ATS's latest civilians in the appropriate place under "More Manufacturers" which I now find has been "moved". I have searched up and down the forum to try to find where it has been moved to but to no avail. Rather than moved it appears to have been deleted and I would like to know (A) Why? and (B) Where the devil has it supposed to have gone. If the moderator MUST justify his existance by tinkering with things then please at least have the good manners to give us reason and destination. A very irate Trooper.

OK, having at last found the entry, which had been moved to "More Glossy Manufacturers", I would still like to know why it was moved. ATS does produce glossy figures, BUT they also produce matt figures on request so I think my original placing was correct. The simple answer would be to have a section labelled "British makers" but I can't see that ever happening. In the mean time please say where an item has been shunted to, it would save a lot of irritation. A slightly less irate Trooper

Sorry you feel that way trooper, I moved them and I also left a redirect to where they were moved. I moved them because the photos were of glossy figures. I am sorry if it caused any confusion.
