LIZARD MUSIC---THE SMASHING MACHINE team of Dwayne Johnson and director Benny Safdie will reunite for the movie based on the novel whose plot is described as, "When a boy left to his own devices stumbles upon a secret late-night broadcast of lizards playing otherworldly music, a hidden door to the extraordinary swings open. His search for answers leads him to the eccentric and whimsical Chicken Man and his beloved companion, a 70-year-old chicken named Claudia — two kindred spirits who have also glimpsed the impossible. United by this shared vision, they set off on an adventure that begins as a hunt for a hidden society but blossoms into something far greater: a voyage through invisible worlds, unexpected harmonies, and the unbreakable bond between lost souls who discover magic not only in what they find, but in each other."
Johnson confirmed he has lost a lot of weight for LIZARD MUSIC.

FURY---Guillermo del Toro said he is reuniting with his FRANKENSTEIN star, Oscar Isaac, for a new movie, “I’m writing it right now, and it’s called FURY and essentially it’s going back to sort of thriller aspects of NIGHTMARE ALLEY — very cruel, very violent. Like MY DINNER WITH ANDRE but killing people after each course.”

TWO AND A HALF MEN---Charlie Sheen commented on his being fired from the comedy tv series in his memoir THE BOOK OF SHEEN, "It didn't go as planned. What I chose not to quit was the testosterone cream that I was slathering on in mind-altering gobs like a f---en Pond's commercial. After all, it was 'legal.' I'd been using it to get my body back into shape, not knowing that at the same time I was being shape-shifted.
That drug is known to metabolize into the identical psych profile an anabolic steroid will produce. Anyone who bore witness to the raging demon I melded with will hopefully glean some clarity for what my state of mind was up against.
Not making excuses or asking for a pass. Just putting it out there there as a detail that may have been confused with a laundry list of other potential suspects.... I've heard great things about the drug when used responsibly, but let's keep it real — drugs and responsible are two words I never made of habit of cramming into the same sentence."

FLORIDA TASK FORCE---BOSCH creator Michael Connelly and Paramount Television are developing an untitled tv series based on Connelly's career as a crime reporter for several Florida newspapers.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY---Tom Holland said he has been paying attention to the fans for BRAND NEW DAY, “For me, I want to do justice to Peter Parker’s character. I want to bring the fans something that’s really worthy of their time, and I’m very grateful for their investment in our franchise. I don’t mean financially, I mean the time to go to the cinema three times. That’s a big ask.
I did a lot of sneaky research online – looking at what people were saying in the interim between SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME and now SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY. I really just kind of put together a vibe of what people were looking for and went to Marvel and said, ‘This is what I think we should be doing.’
I think that’s exactly what we are doing. So, it’s been a really fun process developing the movie. It’s the first time I’ve ever been allowed in that part of the process, and it’s definitely a stressful experience. But I think where we’ve got to, now that we’re shooting, we are shooting absolute gold.”

THE CONJURING---HBO Max tv series underway based on the horror movie franchise.

LICE---photo and synopsis released for the horror movie starring Justin Long and Emile Hirsch, "A gruesome death. A sealed-off high school. Something crawling beneath the skin. When a student’s terrifying breakdown shocks a classroom, an almost invisible parasite spreads through the halls, instantly twisting teens into maniacs. Locked inside with no escape, students and staff spiral into violence and hysteria. Amid the chaos, Principal Van (Justin Long) struggles to maintain control, drowning his anxiety in alcohol before losing his grip on reality – and his head. Burned-out science teacher Mr. Shanker (Emile Hirsch) steps up as the only adult trying to make sense of the madness, uncovering traces of a government experiment gone wrong. Outside the quarantined halls, Detective Sikorski (Kevin Connolly) races to contain the outbreak before it consumes the entire town. The real horror isn’t what’s under your skin – it’s what it makes you do."

HEATHER OF THE VALLEY---Zooey Deschanel and Michelle Buteau will star in the comedy movie about two ex-high school classmates who are obsessed with the tv series SCOTLANDER and whose plot is described as, "A twist of fate catapults them from the San Fernando Valley back in time to a hilariously gritty, historically accurate version of 18th-century Scotland. And what should have been a romantic escape from their lives turns into a violent, foul-smelling, and dangerously real nightmare — forcing the women to survive sword fights, scheming aristocrats, and the indignities of the past armed only with modern-day sass, resourcefulness… and the occasional Britney Spears dance routine."

TRIVIA---two James Bond movie stars, Maud Adams (THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, OCTOPUSSY) and George Lazenby (ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE) appeared in the 1988 exploitation movie HELL HUNTERS in which a former Nazi scientist has developed a formula from spiders venom that will turn Los Angeles into a city of zombies.
