Moving to more favourable positions '44 (1 Viewer)

Brought in the "big guns" - cool.

Yes the K&C Elephant is pretty big Rob :salute::
Lucky they're not having to try and repair the Elephant in the rain as they make their way back West with the guy on the roof scanning the sky for Russian Sturmoviks searching for targets !

Reminds me a bit of this beast:

Love the scene you have created here Steve. The Elephant repair crew look desperate to get back on the road again. Beware the Flying Tank as they say!

Cheers,
Grey

Yes it’s hard to miss the Elephant in the room. Both are beasts of warfare. Robin.

Nice photos Steve. The K&C Elefant is one I missed out on but wish I had gotten one when I had the chance.

Cheers Grey :salute::
LIke many minor repairs in the field the Elephant proved too heavy needing something like five Pzr IV recovery tanks, so only possible when in a secure position with time to spend on recovery.

Yes it is a beast in size for sure Robin :salute::

I missed out on the initial release too and got this on the secondary market via French ebay !
I think it would be an expensive if it was re- released and even if K&C were to, there would be many wanting the Ferdinand for Kursk instead. K&C will never please everybody !
