Just a quick note to let you know that the auction site went down yesterday because of a host server issue and is still down.
Since auction sites absolutely have to be up and running at all times and this issue wasn't resolved immediately, we are making some major changes to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Today we are moving the site to a new web hosting company and we have hired our own IT person to handle any issues that might come up as well as do customizations for us to make the site even better.

We expect to reopen the site Monday once everything has migrated to the new server. We apologize that several live auctions got cut off close to their ending times. We plan to add time back to them to allow people to get in and have a chance to place their final bids.

We are very excited to begin working with our new tech guy and our new host and expect great things from both of them and the CGA site in the future.

Best regards,

Peter,
How do you access this new site? Please inform me

We noticed it had come back on...so we took it down again. We have a guy working on it today...should be back online tonight or tomorrow

Cheers Peter:
Any update at all as I still show her down from my sector.
Thanks,
Marc

We had a slight hitch in the migration to a new server...nothing major, but we're getting it all ironed out before opening the site again. It was supposed to be done by last night...we'll check it soon and see.

Thanks Peter for the SITREP. Fingers crossed for a successful test flight!

At long last we are back online!

Took longer than we expected because some custom code had to be cleared by the new hosting service. We had to provide proof and documentation that the custom code was a legitimate component of our software and not malware of any sort.

It's good to know we are working with such a vigilant professional hosting service. The CGA site is in good hands!

All sellers who had live auctions when the original server went down have been contacted with options to extend or relist their auctions.

Thank you all for your patience as we migrated to the new server.

Best regards,
