For my Battle of the Bulge dio, I want to have a muddy road with tank tracks to match my KC King Tiger. What can I use to create the tracks besides the model itself?

I would determine the width of the track mark on your surface and just use a small flathead screwdriver and imprint the impressions into the surface, kinda like drawing a small straight line ;)

Share some pics of your muddy tracks soon, another idea would be the get a bag of Hudson and Allen's Groundwork of a bag of their Mud, it works great and will give up excellent results! I use it alot!!

I've never used that, do I need to paint it? Does it come with good instructions? How much comes in a bag?

Why not use some clay to make an impression of the actual track itself...then press it into your mud groundwork...you won't get any more authentic than that...any hobby store has it.

How about some cling film (plastic food wrap - off a roll?). Use it to protect the tank tracks themselves, and then press in to the mud to make the impression. Then pel off the cling film and discard. I've ben thinking of doing this with th LCA in to a beach / sea dio.

and if you want a wet mud look then paint it with clear gloss.
