Nicely done! I wondered what'd you'd done in terms of representing the prophet. This thread at least shouldn't provoke riots around the globe.

You better be careful that this is not viewed in a negative way.

You can't see him nor hear him.

There was a film in the 70s, I believe with Anthony Quinn, orignally called Muhammed,Messenger of God, but quickly changed to just, I believe the Messenger, where Quinn (geez, he played just about every nationality but African-American/Black) would 'talk' to Muhammed, then go from there. If I recall, and I've only seen excerpts, he'd be facing the camera, or where Muhammed was standing, and have a one sided conversation with 'him'. "So, you want me to tell the people? As you wish," type thing. (Is that called POV maybe?) I recall seeing ads on the subway platforms in London at the time, (maybe 76 or 78) but don't know if the movie ever made it to the US.
But, OP, you've done a great job of depicting him.

(just saw the blog. The movie was very much like that.)

Jay, I should have credited that film on my blog. It's got a few sword fight battles in it. Some Christian religious films leave out the deity's voice and just have the listener's replies. Quinn was great! He was Irish/Mexican.

I was thinking of that film too! He was even in sword fights, which were shown as if the 'enemy' was having a fight with the camera. Some Muslim traditions were happy to have representations of the Prophet - Persian ones I think, but I'm not sure if this continues at all in the modern age.

I love so many of the Timpo figures. The ones you have here are still some of the best that were done.

I've only found 4 dismounted poses and the ones you see have a few conversions plus a buff paint job to match the AIP and Conte figures.

Tom, here are some more TIMPO Arabs. They have been painted one color and some have been converted from the 4 poses. A "few" MARX Arabs on IMEX horses in back.

Here is one place to get them but I sure didn't pay that much!
