That's on my 'bucket list' when I can travel back to Europe, I've just been looking at website showing loads of toy soldiers :)

Thanks for showing this,

John

When I planned my trip to Spain a couple of years back, this museum kept popping up on the bucket list. There were a few others as well ...😃. It seems that the Iberian peninsula is covered with either military or toy soldier museums. I discovered substantial toy soldier displays in several main museums in Lisbon, Seville, Toledo, Madrid, Barcelona. I had to give Valencia a miss as it was a long detour from my planned route. Thankfully too as the region was flooded during my time there.

However this valencia museum is tied to a large toy soldier shop nearby if y check.hahahha.

There is also a great museum of toy soldiers in Jaca The city is in the Pyrenees mountains of northeast Spain, near the French border. It’s known for the 16th-century Ciudadela de Jaca, a pentagonal fortress that houses the Museum of Military Miniatures. If you can make it it’s a beautiful little city.
