Museum of the War in the Pacific (1 Viewer)

Spent Thanksgiving at my sisters house in Austin, took my nephew to the Museum of the War in the Pacific, great museum but poor timing on my part. On Dec. 7th (peral Harbour day) they will be opening a huge new wing called the George W. Bush wing (41). which previewed on the web as being really fabulous.
Lots of great equipment to see including PT-309 actual serving PT boat that saw action in the Mediteranian theater. the Museum was pretty impressive as it stood but the new wing should really put it over the top.
This Monday the X-pres. and many, many veterans and dignitaries will do the ribbon cutting, would love to see it

Nice pics Carlos, looks like the day was much nicer as well.
The ticket I bought has admission stubs for the new wing thats good for a year, so I'm going back to Austin to work this week and hope to catch the new wing. If I have time I'll take additional pics, I hear theres the midget sub from pearl Harbour and a B-25 as well.

Since its pacific, I will definately have to check it out someday. Am planning on returning to Quantico this spring though, to see the newly added on wings to the new state of the art, Marine Corps Museum...........Stryker
