Would like to advance the following candidates as potential new additional sets in the K&C Market Garden Series for 2010. Hopefully Andy may read this, as well as other members of the Forum with comment or additions:

Paratroopers descending (same as US Paratroopers in D-Day sets DD119, 122 and 123) Very logical, same chutes, just hook on British Paratroopers (This is almost a guaranteed set)
Paratrooper just landed, pulling in his chute
Opening a CLE Container or Wicker Pannier
Firing 3in MK II Mortar (Classic photograph with 3 man crew) I know already done as Arnhem ’44 Series (AN 008)
Firing 75mm M1A1 Pack Howitzer (Again already done in Arnhem ’44 Series AN 004)
Firing 2in MK VIII Mortar
Throwing a No.82 (Gammon Bomb) grenade
Army Film and Photographic Unit (APFU) Combat Cameraman
Airborne Trolley with Crew (2)

If personality figures are a possible consideration:

LCOL John Frost, CO, 2 Para Bn
Major Dickie Lonsdale, Lonsdale Force
Lt Jack Greyburn, VC
Maj Robert H. Cain, VC
LSgt J.D. Baskeyfield, VC
Capt Lionel E. Queripel, VC
Mrs Kate terHorst
War Correspondent Stanley Maxted reporting to BBC (Classic photograph with recording equipment)

Wow, that is a superb list, well thought out and laid out, maybe a certain list maker in this parts should take note of how to do this properly.

Re Kate terHorst; how about a diorama piece depicting her house, now that would be a superb IMO....................

Have tried without success to edit my original thread in order to correct the spelling of the name of Lt Jack Grayburn, VC. This is the only method I've been able to come up with. Happy New Year's greetings to all.

Hi Jim,
I have corrected the name for you. We have also moved the thread to the suggestions category.
Best regards,
