I was looking at things I've bookmarked at Amazon.com, and I noticed that one of the books I'm following has gone up in price:

This has got to be a typo. This book was retailing for around a hundred bucks, I think, but this is a bit much.

I see these Insane!!! prices all the time on Amazon for used and rare books. Check out this other book from the same author on 7 years Austrians, all used books starting around the same price range as that other book but one seller is asking all most $20,000!!!! for a used book!!!{eek3} The kicker is a lot of these books are still available else where at retail prices?????
I wonder how many of these outrageous priced books have sold to lazy millionairs who want the book and don,t want to search around for one at a reasonable price???

I once saw a bidding war on ebay for a Del Prado Napoleonic figure, just a regular stock out of the package without book scotts grey figure you can pick up for $15 bucks sell for over $800 bucks!!! I thought this must have been a mistake bid but when I looked at bidding list there were multiple bids back and forth for this thing???? Like i,m richer then you battle or something?
Boy I wish I was that seller!

Here is a link to the other book I was talking about! I always check the prices on the new and used books and I see this ALL the time! I,m sure a few of these over priced books have sold to the money is no object crowd out there. These are a bit more crazy then most but who knows??? Don Trump might be on the look out for this title???:rolleyes2:
For $20,000 you could do another whole production run of the book!

Thanks for the references, guys. This is a book I want to add to my library. Previously on Amazon, I'd seen it under $100, but that was only one place I watched. I've seen similar prices to the ones you're seeing, on the second-hand market. It's supposed to be a very good reference.
