While vacationing in Paris last August I could not resist paying a visit to my favorite museum: the Paris Army Museum or "Musée de l'Armée"

Its a BRILLIANT Museum to visit, and on the 3 times I have visited Paris, I've made sure I went there ... on the first day!!!!

Last time was in 2010 when the Napoleonic Displays had only been open for 2 weeks after a 3 year restoration. I planned the trip so that I wouldn't miss that part, and wasn't disappointed, like I was in 2008 when they were closed

Thanks for sharing the images, I took about 150 just in that area ... a valuable uniform resource for my painting,

Funny how small the world seems I was there last year as well and enjoyed the museum and seeing Napoleons Tomb as well. All in all this few hours made up for the pain of Euro Disney again, but the kids loved it so I got some cool points for allowing a second visit to the park.
