Received my BEF reinforcements Tuesday and am very pleased with the new additions to my firing line. Paint colours match up perfectly with the original releases.
The Maxim Gun and crew nicely done - and quite unique to the current Toy Soldier world, (as far as I’m aware) - a WW1 British Maxim. Someone has done their homework at last!
The kneeling shooting figure has a very good posture – looking down the sights of his Lee Enfield convincingly.
The moustached kneeling Corporal has a nice pose – about to put a bullet clip into his Lee Enfield (bolt out to accommodate) - good stuff!
I feel this range is coming together very well. I would say to some comments I’ve seen on the Forum, that I personally feel these figures tend to look much better with the “naked eye” than in photographs. The EMM figures as I’ve said before, do have a unique charm and style of their own (again only my personal opinion.) I also collect John Jenkins and King & Country, both of course top notch manufacturers but feel that EMM are bringing a little "something" to the party as well……..
Cheers,
Roy
