Received my BEF reinforcements Tuesday and am very pleased with the new additions to my firing line. Paint colours match up perfectly with the original releases.

The Maxim Gun and crew nicely done - and quite unique to the current Toy Soldier world, (as far as I’m aware) - a WW1 British Maxim. Someone has done their homework at last!

The kneeling shooting figure has a very good posture – looking down the sights of his Lee Enfield convincingly.
The moustached kneeling Corporal has a nice pose – about to put a bullet clip into his Lee Enfield (bolt out to accommodate) - good stuff!

I feel this range is coming together very well. I would say to some comments I’ve seen on the Forum, that I personally feel these figures tend to look much better with the “naked eye” than in photographs. The EMM figures as I’ve said before, do have a unique charm and style of their own (again only my personal opinion.) I also collect John Jenkins and King & Country, both of course top notch manufacturers but feel that EMM are bringing a little "something" to the party as well……..

Cheers,

Roy

Nice figures Roy! Thanks for sharing them with us. I'm certain the Germans aren't going to like bumping into these guys. {sm3}

Thank you Brendan, you're right! They were a tough old lot the original BEF, certainly not over awed by the mighty German army:

"Kaiser Bill is felling ill
The Crown Prince He's gone barmy
We don't give a f**k about old Von Kluck
and all his bleedin' army"

(They sung this to the tune of the old music hall song "The girl I left behind")

Cheers,

Roy

Very impressive - Its nice to see a Toy Soldier firm actually getting the correct crew positions for the Maxim right.

Thanks for posting these images up Roy.

Love the settings and the downed trees, great stuff.

I am also pleased to hear that you are pleased with the range and getting enjoyment out of them.

We pride ourselves on our research and, as you know, have so much equipment at our disposal and in my personal collection that we really have no excuse for not getting right. (Set myself up to fall down now :) )

I am indebted to all the people that help and support me and the brand. Without their help, we would not be able to create the figures that give our valued and respected collectors the pleasure they do.

Lots more on the way, as well as the opposition. This range is really set to grow between now and the end of 2017.

Malcolm. :salute::
