Although I have my own 54s sculpted I dont have the bodies cast up yet- so I swapped some of my FIW grenadier heads onto some Armies in Plastic bodies - and the AIP heads will be trimmed to bicornes and go onto some BMC mexican army bodies to make Spanish Naps since those BMC heads are terrible lol.

My FIW project....

So after a few months of working on these in my spare time the first sets are in the final stages of sculpting:

3 Brit Grenadier heads
3 Tricorne heads (Brit of French)
3 Forage Cap heads (French but also Brit lights)
3 British Light heads
2 Militia Tricorne heads (redoing the 3rd one)
4 British coat Torsos
4 French coat Torsos
3 sets of legs with Turnbacks

For a total of 25 unique parts that can make 228 combinations of 'proper' 1750s era British/French (or any Prussian style uniform)- in addition if you mix the British heads onto the French Torsos you get an additional 132 combinations that easily modify into the British waistcoat. Note that a combination is not the same as a pose- the half cock torso can be made into a pouring powder pose or ramrod pose for example.

As well I have done a variety of kit (hatchets, powder horns, bayonets, ammo bags etc)

You can see a more detailed pic here:

I know that I will certainly send these to be spin cast; but I am also considering selling moulds to hobbyists or trading casting rights in exchange for copies. Anyone interested can pm me :)

Hi Serge,

It is really nice to see you make an appearance on this forum! I hope you will interact often with members of this group. I look forward to hearing more from you!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

I'd be interested in castings for sure- I dont paint very well but insist that I enjoy my collections more when they have been painted by myself :D
