With apologies to the REAL painters and artists on this forum here is my latest attempt at a repaint job on the LCA.As you can see i have a long way to go with my skills but it is hugely enjoyable none the less.Before shots;

Hey Rob, that looks pretty darn good. Don't knock yourself. I also see you are now a dab hand at taking and posting pictures !!!

I forgot to weather the life belts,so they are a bit too bright Red!:eek:

Where did this LCA come from? What did it look like before? You had fun anyway though yeah? Now you know why I repaint stuff. When you have a nice figure it just goes so easily.:)

Hey KV,its in the first two pics of this thread mate,it was a flat Grey colour.It was supplied by the good folk at K&C UK,but i don't know the name of the actual producer.

Looks way better rob, will look good along side the k&c one. What figures are they inside?

Thats very kind of you mate,inside is 'Tommy Patrol' and a Naval figure from the FOB series.

That looks brilliant mate, well done! Should fit in very nicely with the K&C LCA when that's out. Great use of weathering, like the dirt around the water line and rust. You'd better replace Mrs W's stock of weathering materials now ;)

All joking aside I take it you are going to get the new one to compliment your repaint - should go together nicely.
