Received my WW1 wooden DH4 bomber in 1/30 scale. Made by My Mahogany Models, it is in matte finish and is a near copy of a photo I gave them. It is easily the most detailed of all the models I have commissioned this past year. The 1/2 pilots were cast and painted by Capt. Kronos, a member of this forum. A much cheaper alternative for crew than JJ..Cost was $335 U.S. and $79 shipping from Philippines.( $414 total ) Michael

Hi Michael,

That's a great looking model. Darned if this thread isn't buried, though! Guess it's just the way that the subforums are structured.

I have another( F2B )on order from a different mfg. who said that he could duplicate the realistic style of this model..( So far, the early looks are not promising ) As soon as this past order is filled, I will order from My Mahogany Models again. I only looked elsewhere because their productions took 4 months..and these other guys..6 weeks..Michael

Michael, I look forward to seeing the Bristol when it comes in. I think MMM hit a homer with the DH-4. -- Al
