I have found that mixing the gray Extra Firm Sculpey with a bit of the much softer pink Super Sculpey gives a nice consistency for mini-sculpting normally lacking in either by itself. Here is one I'm working on with this combination...a late 4th century Hoplite (the face looks gargoyleish by design, it was a full face armor):
