LOL You are a funny man! I have some Bengal Lancers I will post soon. Couple of difficulties tracking down color guides / painting guies.

KV, your stuff is amazing, the whole casting talent you have, I envy. I'm not into metals, or glossy, but I do appreciate talents like you and J. Miller. Someday down the road, I just might give it a fling. Mike:)

Here's the last of my matte painted figures by Cliff Sanderson and I'm sure you've noticed that they all appear in a mini dio which I feel shows them off quite nicely instead of a plain background..The Lt.

Joe: Thanks for pics of the castings you painted. Very professional job on painting the figures. I am still looking at bags and boxes of castings. I spend more time puttering in my work area then actual painting. Besides, I feel guilty if I go paint figures while my wife is busy painting the inside walls and trim in our garage. She won't let me on ladder yet. I think it would be hazardous to my well being to go work on hobbies while house projects are being done. John

I feel your pain.

John my fault is spending more time lately on the computer and taking photos to post than painting and finishing figures. The attached photo appeared earlier in K.V. work place and the mounted figure of Lt. Meville by Greenwood and Ball is in the same stage of being finished that in was in back in 1987. Not included in the photo are 8 Zulu figures by Greenwood and Ball I've had since the early 80's. At least you've got a good excuse at......The Lt.

Excellent paint jobs on the Hinchcliffes LT. Top Notch , I like that style. I have a bucnh of the Hinchcliffe ZULu { unpainted of course} but as yet havent found the British.

John, Stay off the ladder . You are supposed to be puttering around.

Fub

Joe: What is the flex paste used for? Scenery? John:confused:

John it's a modeling paste that will not crack and is perfect as a filler, surfacer and primer. It's what I used to prime both the hospital and storehouse before painting along with the foundation of the storehouse...The Lt.

Continuing with my painted figure are also figures by Cliff Sanderson in Gloss with minor conversions....The Lt.

I like the Matte finish over the Glossy. But the soldiers themselves are awesome, wicked cool, sounds like I'm a New Englander, am and love it. Mike:)

As a requested by Major K. V. his request is my command the Lt.

Returning to my matte painted figures the following are from Greewood and Ball I purchased at the Excalibar Shop in Lexinton, Ma in the mid 80's own by Bill Murphy, Matt Murphy's dad. In speaking with Matt awhile back he mentioned that they also had been done as toy soldiers and demand a hefty price whenever the appear for sale. Currently working to finish off the mounted figur which appeared early in the thread along with a group of Zulus....The Lt.
