I had the pleasure of meeting Andy at Peter Nathan's shop in Sydney.

Andy will need to release a limited edition of his own likeness (maybe he can be a refugee ??) as he was pulled from pillar to post by all the visitors eager to meet him. Andy was clearly up to the challenge as I managed to have a decent discussion with him about some of my ideas (hehehe).

The display of the new Light Horse figures was awesome as were the figures themselves.

I decided to purchase the Red Ensign horseman. It was great setting it up on my shelf as it is my first K&C mounted figure (and yes I have been agonising for months as WWII Europe is my forte).

I will also have to find a place for the autographed box.

cheers

What an interesting thought - a cameo appearancee by Andy Neilson in one of his own figures. How else could he be depicted? A saluting civilian watching the LAH in Berlin? I think not. What about as a civilian prisoner of the Japanese following the fall of Hong Kong in December 1941? Not a possibility given his thoughts on the Pacific Theatre. A Royal Marine Commando? Too predictable. How about a gallant skipper of a small craft coming to the rescue of the BEF in May 1940? Maybe. Any other ideas?

A drunken merchant seaman being evicted from dingy SOHK den of ill repute?

How about an Expatriate (ie. white) Police Inspector wearing the short sleeved shirt with sam browne, khaki shorts and the long socks to go with SOHK ? Could even be called Inspector Neilsen.
I am pretty sure Andy has gpod photo reference !!!
Regards
Brett
