Here is some of the materials and projects Some of the reinforcements for lt are to be seen in the shelves

I have been asked about my clear coats. These are what I use. You can find them at Michaels craft stores. The triple thick stuff is and creates an amazing shine. You do have to work quickly with it though. It becomes very tacky and will lift the paint.

K.V. I thought I'd reply to your question regarding my search for a clear coat gloss paint here instead of in the Diorama Threads. As a matter of fact I have and it's by MINWAX and it's a Water-Based POLYCRYLIC Clear Gloss protctive finish. It comes in an 8 oz. can and cost $5.85 at the Home Depot. I'm including a photo of one of four figures I've just finished and hope you don't mind a few of what I have in the works at my work station......Joe (aka The Lt.)

Don't mind at all! Who made the little fella? Are they still available?

They're from MINMEN and I'm not sure at this time. I spoke with J. B. Updike within the past year or two thinking about placing an oder at the time for a few duplicates but never got around to doing it. If I can put my hands on his phone number I'll pass it on to you. meant to ask you a question about the use of black ink. What's the effects of it when it's applied and how do you apply it.........The Lt.

Inking is used to underline or wash depressed areas that need to be shaded. his is generally used in miniatures like 30mm and below or in the case of connoisseur figures. How much is used depends entirely up to the user. You might try a one to one mix. One drop of ink and one drop of water. You brush it over the area you want shadowed or underlined. It should go easily into those low points then brush or wipe off the excess. It is a trial and error process. It is very good for bringing out detail. There are several inking colors available. Wargammers use ink a great deal and you can find more useful info on some of their painting websites. Good luck painting!

Take your zulu figure pointing the Asegai. See the white feathery stuff? If you have the ink , dilute it a bit and wash the feathers. Or take a very dark brown. like burnt umber, dilute it and try it. Hope that helps a bit more.

Once again thanks for you help seems your their whenever it's needed...The Lt.
