With the holidays coming and a 2-year-old in the house, my mind has been skipping over years past, and I remembered a unique undersea playset I had seen in an old Best catalog back in the '80s. I don't remember the dimensions, but it was made up of a rectangle of blue plastic that stood upright, with the longer side vertical. The top was a boat, a marine research vessel (very detailed, from what I remember) and the bottom was the sea floor. There were various crew members and divers, and a dive cage that was lowered on a string. There were also two sharks and two octopi that were composed of white rubber with black eyes. I never saw it in stores or in any other catalog ever again, and have always wondered who made it. Does anyone have any idea - or any pics?

I recall some set like you described somewhere down in FL while living down there in the 80's-on and off. I can't remember where, but must have been either Marine Land or some other attraction I went to. It was meant for the bathtub, If I'm thinking of what you're thinking. And it was a marine underwater research set, also. Let me stew on it and see if anything pops out!
