Hi guys,
You have no doubt noticed that the Luftwaffe Pilots were named but the US Pilot AF001 and 002 are not. Looking at the recent Collector three Dambuster pilot prototypes are named (Gibson, Martin and Munro). Is this because Andy wants them to be more generic or because worried about copyright issues.

It may be fun to unofficially "name" these two pilots. Hopefully Andy won't mind but perhaps a Poll type thread with a choice of names.

If we can get several names then hopefully Brad can convert it into a poll and see which Pilots name comes up top.

Of course at the end of the day they can be who ever fits in best with your collection but it might be interesting.

Regards
Brett

Hi Guys,

Actually, I don’t know why I didn’t name those two guys!?! We’re doing it for the Luftwaffe… we’re definitely doing it for the upcoming RAF pilots… Now why didn’t I do it for the two Yanks!?

Well, here’s my suggestion for what it’s worth…one would be Don Gentile, who first flew with one the RAF “Eagle” Squadrons before transferring over to the Army Air Corps and the other would be noted P47 “Ace” the great “Hub” Zemke.

Apologies for that slip-up…

Best wishes and… happy flying!
Andy C.
