Well, I'm inviting hate mail from Napoleonophiles. hahaha.

I am doing extended spring cleaning and really turning out the gray collection and pests as well. Came across this olde base which I had made for my Napoleon Sacre but it was too ambitious then. I thought that maybe if I recrafted the scene with visual perspectives, I could compress the scene and fit it within a reasonably sized shadow box.

So here it is, with all the red lines drawn for further trimming.

Can we see your preliminary scene Diorama layout sketches please? Be nice to get some idea how it all fits together you see? Looks interesting

Looking forward to seeing this progress over time, you certainly never go the way route Victor 👍🏻

I had tried to do this scene abt three decades ago. I shared the concept and work then. Then abandoned it.

Hi Steve. I do try but keep getting waylaid by forlorn figures. I tk the medical term is short attn span or attention deficit syndrome …

Ill start with Eugene Beauharnais. He is standing to the right side behind the two bishops. Although short in stature, he was painted as standing taller than the two bishops.

I had last left him in this state about 2 decades back. So the first thing is to animate his left hand and then to elevate his height slightly.
