So we come to it at last...I can just hear the Napoleon's Europe faithful saying "DAK this, American Rev that, give me the NAP Russians." (I can even hear one saying - "these are nice, but they aren't the figures in green coats I was wanting." :D)

So just to make sure you all know which range is our flagship, here is our latest creation for Napoleon's Europe. After long last, the Russians are finally getting the infantry support that they need to stop the French cold at Borodino. Sets NAP0217-NAP0236 Russian Tauride Grenadier Regiment are full of movement and really lend themselves well to diorama building. Designed with a counterattack in mind on the great redoubt or the fleches or even the Semenovskaya village, this is one of our broadest releases for a single regiment at 20 different figures. These sets will be shipping in early May.

So the Russians now have their full compliment - command, artillery, cavalry, and infantry. What will we do next for the Russians? Well, more infantry, more cavalry, and more command I suspect. :D

We hope you enjoy the new figures.

Best,

Matt

Stupendous. It has become a truism that each of your releases is as good or even more impressive than the last and this one just about takes the cake for ground forces.:cool::D I especially like those 221 to 224 boys. Excellent work again Matt; it is enough to make someone start collecting Russians.;):D

Very nicely done as usual. I particularly like the standard bearers and I think the dead grenadier is tastefully done.

Just to show I have not yet be overcome, despite the obvious merits of the temptation, I assume that applies to Britain and its pesky would be enemy empire of the time?;):D:D

Thank You, Thank You Matt! Awesome job! Great addition to the line.

WOW !! Absolutely Incredible , I know I say this all the time but I can't help it . With every release you guys just keep improving . This release has raised the bar in a new direction , I have never in my life seen a Company produce figures at this level or any level to be honest with the variety of poses on offer here . The standard bearers are out of this world and carrying both the Colonel's flag model 1797 and the newer model 1800   . The detail is fantastic  As a collector of Napoleonic Figures I'm in shock.... all I can say is you guys are in a class all to yourselves . The only competition you have is your next release ... Congratulations on yet another amazing debut well worth the wait . Keep em coming .. All the best Gebhard

I love flags, and those flagbearers look fantastic to me!!!!!

Hi ,
When I started to collect First Legion i was at the time in deep with other manufactures so my intent was just to collect the Standard Bearers and drummers from First Legion to have as a separate display focusing on the fantastic detail in the painting of the Standards and uniforms. That didn't last to long and i soon had around 80 Bavarians of the 4th and 5th  . I would love to see some Bavarian Cavalry and Artillery in the future . I'm lucky enough to own every Standard Bearer so far released by FL and I would say to anyone interested in the period they are beyond doubt the best available on the market today . And a bargain ...they really would make for a great separate display if you could have the discipline to just collect them I know I caved big time . The Prussian and the Wurttemberger 1st Prince Paul being my Favorites so far of the ones released . All the Best Gebhard .

Figures arrived today and IMO they are on par with the Prussians both in sculpting and Painting and that's saying a lot , with even finer detail to the headgear not yet available on any previous release . Both the Standard bearers are true works of art and are a must for any serious collector of Napoleonic Figures . After spending more then two hours just taking in each figure looking closely at every fine detail , All I can say is that First Legion are truly in a class all by themselves . It really don't get any better then this guys a must have for sure All the Best Gebhard

I am not surprised to hear how wonderful they are. Certainly the photos I have seen to date suggest that. I do love the poses on this set as well. I would love to have some British or French like that. All in good time I am sure. IN the meantime, I am now waiting for some Scots.;)

Hi Gebhard
Not yet no response .......:(:(:(:(:(

Look forward to seeing what will come next in the form of Russian troops :) I would really like to see First Legion reproduce the Pavlovski Regiment's grenadiers . They would be a perfect fit making up part of the First Army ,3rd Army Corps , 1st Division same as the Tauride Grenadiers . I have always liked the old mitres :) Gebhard

Matt have to realize them before I ended my diorama Borodino!!!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
