Where are very pleased to return to where we started and present an updated rendition of the first figures we ever released, the Napoleonic Bavarians. Our new rendtion presents them as the Bavarian 6th Light Infantry Battalion La Roche. Only a small handful of our customers actually have these figures as they were sold out before most had a chance to get them, so we hope this provides an opportunity for those who wanted the sculpts to acquire them. Further, they are better on every level than the original release and those who have the first batch and pickup this new batch can put them side by side to see just how far we've come with our products. Finally, we're offering them at a price a bit lower than our standard pricing these days though, as you can see, the quality is every bit as good as anything else we make. I guess we're feeling nostalgic! The production run on these is very small by our current standards so pick them up while they're available!

I am happy about this new re-release. This is a good addition to the range. I certainly like the price point.

Having said that, I wish Matt would have found it in him to do two or three more sculpts, in partcular a bugler. Lastly, why no flag bearer? I would think the 6th had a flag as well. So, what do the experts say?

I had the same question. It is nice to see more Bavarians, but will there be a flag bearer? As someone who has always been interested in flags, I have always regretted not picking up a great looking Bavarian flag for my collection.

Unfortunately, Bavarian Light Infantry Battalions weren't issued Standards.

Re- release. Another Yey!!!. I hope there will be a re-release of the 1st British Guards too. Or maybe a few new castings to add to the square.

Thank you, Matt. I had thought that that would be the case. I saw some references in the war gaming community to flags, but would not want to rely on those alone in my research.

I agree with that, we really need re-release/new poses of the for 1st British Guard. With a (new) flag bearer...
