95th Rifles: did they have a flag or guidon? Or regimental colours?

95th Officers: were the officers ever mounted?

KGL Horse and Line artillery: Were there uniforms any different from the standard british artillery uniforms?

Thanks, Scott

Hi Scott
I'm pretty certain I've read somewhere that when they were first raised, they didn't have Colours because it was thought that because of the roll of skirmishing they would mostly be involved in that having Colours would not fit in with their roll.
Whether individual units might have some sort of Pennant, I've not read anything on the matter.
Yes Officers of the 95th certainly could have mounts, though it would be up to the individual officers financial circumstance, opportunity as well as whether it would be appropriate in the field. Not forgetting that officers would have some sort of pack animals to carry their baggage.
Sorry can't help with any info on KGL.
Steve
