I was looking through the latest WB brochure and noticed that there are lots of excellent ACW artillery sets and soldiers for sale.
I then looked back over a few of my older WB brochures and noticed ACW artillery has always been well catered for by WB over the years.
Now it seems the Zulu wars are getting the same treatment.
I was wondering why WB had not released any Napoleonic artillery and if there are any in the pipeline.
I would also like to see a WB rocket troop battery.

Hi There,

In 2001 they released a 9lb British Gun set number 00290. and a French 12lb Gun set number 00289. I will have to look at my other catalogues to see what else has been done but these are the only two I know for sure.

Hi Dave,
Yes you are quite right the previous owners of the W. Britains company did these two sets.
Both of these sets usually get very good resale prices on such as ebay auctions.
The feedback from this forum suggests that Napoleonic artillery would be popular and a good seller.
That's why I find it strange that the new regime at W.Britains hasn't released a new Napoleonic artillery set as yet.

Hi Again,

I think you are correct and I am sure that Britains has seen this and will make something in the not too distant future. They have been doing a lot of artillery in recent years and we even have a pretty cool set for the Zulu Line this year so I am going to go out on a limb and guess we'll see something soon..
All the best

Dave
