I think about this question fairly often and wondered what other Britains Napoleonics collectors are hoping and thinking these days Re: what will we see after the Hougomont series winds down. I know Ken has previously hinted in another thread that we would be venturing out onto other parts of the Waterloo battlefield in time and to be patient which to me is good news on both counts, as there is more great stuff to come and I will have ample time to acquire it all too. So, again just wondering what y'all are thinking about in the meantime.

First I hope they do a thorough job with Hougomont. I'm getting all of the scenics so I hope they keep going with the series for awhile. After that I'd like to see a different battle with other combatants than just British and French. Maybe Peninsula War?

I must say that the series thus far has been a shot in the arm for me. I really like the figures. The poses are varied and animated. They go well with the existing North Gate. I will have to do some more reading. Then add on to the shelf dio, or start a new one. The "sand pits" or the garden.I wish they had come out earlier. So many K&C to sell. Sorry Andy:eek:

I also don't mind seeing Hougomont continue for a bit longer and am very much looking forward to the new items coming over the next several months. I was happy to see Napoleon and his staff in this latest catalog and wonder if that signals the start of some regular future releases outside of the Chateau. The action around La Haye Sainte seems to be a popular notion in terms of where the focus may next shift. This would allow for a pretty wide variety of new players including some German units (KGL, Hanoverians), 95th rifles, French Cavalry and more French Infantry of course. I am also curious to see which personalities will come out in future releases.

Well how about some PRUSSIANS !!!! We're in as much need for them as Wellington was at Waterloo.:D

Yes, they seem to be a rare commoditiy. Perhaps centering on the action around Plancenoit. I agree that would be a most welcome development.
