Our great members from down under have produced a plethora...a literal cornucopia.... of information for us salivating toy soldier nuts!!!!! Thanks again to Brett, Howard and all.

I am very excited about the BRITISH CAVALRY. No offense on the French but we are so off balanced. We have only had the Grey's thus far and we need more. We need British/ Allied Cavalry...we need it in droves...we need it in hedge rows...we need it everywhere!!!!

What Regiments would you like to see???

For me, it would be any of the following:

6th Inniskilling Dragoons. YES!!!
7th Hussars.
10th Hussars.
11th Hussars.
12th Light Dragoons.
13th Light Dragoons.
16th Light Dragoons.
18th Light Dragoons.

This should give KC a nice little start!!!!!

Ludwig

Also, for Christmas Andy.....Royal Horse Guards, King’s Dragoon Guards, and Royal Dragoons.

Hope you don't mind me saying it Ludwig, but I didn't get any Scots Greys last time so they would suit me just fine!:wink2:^&grin Any Brit Cavalry would be fine with me though:wink2:

Hate to rain on your parade .. But the way it works, is if the new cavalry are already scheduled for release in "late 2012 or early 2013" I believe It's already too late to petition your preference as the production process would have already started.

Nevertheless, if I recall earlier discussions it's very likely either British Hussars or Horse guards and for the French, horse grenadiers of the guard ^&grin.

No rain on my parade today. A little bird...told what he heard.....or perhaps saw:rolleyes2:...

...and that was that the sculpts are done on a British Light Mounted Regiment!!!!!!!..........

What do think man!!!!!!

New Napoleonic cavalry would be most welcomed .... my first preference would however be the horse grenadiers of the Imperial guard. {sm3}

When it comes right down to it.......I will take anything mounted on a horse in this series. I have every piece thus far....and I am not quitting now.

Do you know the regiment? I really hope these are KGL Hussars.

The King's German Legion would be very nice ... the KGL played an important contribution to British forces in the NAP wars. They were just as important to the Allies, as the Polish Legion were to the Emperor's armies.

Would love to see K&C do both eventually ... Smashing uniforms and great military reputation. What else can a toy soldier manufacturer ask for ? {sm4} {sm3}

I honestly....cana tell!!

I am sure it will be worth all our waits!!

So far we have only got Scots Greys from K&C, so any more Birish would be most welcome.

Hussars, Light Dragoon, Dragoons Guards, Life Guards and Horse Guards are all needed with KGL a similar uniform, but I'd prefer British.

Any will do for this next release.

As far as French, Horse Grenadiers and Line Chasseurs are absent, as well as Hussars, so whay not them too???

I'd also like to see some dismounted poses, much like the Lighthorse, with a standing fighting trooper.

Bring on the TROOPERS....

From the just shared preview pics of the latest LH and ME releases, K&C's mounted pieces are going from being very good to near incredible TS. Am certainly looking forward to these new NAP cavalry releases.

Perhaps General Lasalle is the front runner is a new batch of French Hussars ?

I also realised that now the cavalry are all over $100, going on the new Napoleon and Lasalle figures, that will result in some downsizing of the massed ranks of cavalry.... maybe in the number of poses too.....

Lets home they all don't come out the same month, maybe a tricle feed, much like the resupply of Lighthorsemen.

John

Based on latest K&C release trend ... It's most likely that the new cavalry will be spread out over a number of months with 2 to 4 sets per releases. Unlike the last Red Lancers, we will not likely see all 9-10 sets offered in one release.

In fact, the latest mounted Emperor and General Lasalle may have already started the release process for French Hussars. ;)

Also, its likely that dismounted sets will be offered to keep the total cost more manageable.

I think they are planned, going on some info I heard, but for the Egyptian Campaign, when they were the enemy of the invading French Oriental Expedition.

I doubt if we'd also get them for later campaigns, when they were incorporated into the Imperail Guard, but keep on hoping !!

but, our NE pieces are so ... so peaceful, standing, smoking, drinking and generally just enjoying the sights & the countryside. Who's gonna start a quarrel & fight them ?

Why would anyone think that Mamelukes of the Imperial Guard wont sell well ... :D

I am waiting anxiously for NE series in action. The Battle of the Pyramids with Mameluke cavalry and French infantry in squares would look awesome. Many of the LOJ and Ancient Egypt scenics would be great backdrops.

I'm sure that any Egyptian being invaded by an "Infidel European Force" would want to fight for thier homeland.
